Virtual Design and Construction is a powerful tool when implemented properly. By setting the project up from the start with the architect and engineers using BIM, we can apply MEP coordination to the project documents in an integrated manner, thereby confirming spatial relationships and avoiding conflicts in real time. Additionally, we can mock-up a variety of materials in the model such as millwork, lab equipment and furniture to provide a layout for the user to review and approve.

By involving the construction manager in the design development early, it enables us to provide a variety of services to the project that will both improve the efficiency of the project and the overall outcome and use-ability of the facility.
